Last December, the student volunteers in Tokyo had a casual online call with the local Khmer teachers. Through playing games and laughing around, they were able to bond with the teachers. The students only teach for 2-3 months a year. Therefore, seeing the teachers’ faces for the first time in a while motivated the students to continue supporting the Cambodians for their lives to be filled with more joy.
